  The band began rehearsing in fall of 2000. Fredrik was the founder of the band along with Artur. The aim of Optimus Crime is to conquer the world with their contageous 70's rock. Main influences are all current and old 70's rock such as Kyuss and Fu Manchu. But some other influences find it's way to the band because of the bassplayer's diet of nonstonermusic. Variation is a must in these hard times of electronical music and hitmusic written by some fucking hitmachine in our beautiful country. Thats why Optimus Crime decided to take the music closer to it's roots.
